GALATASARAY have completed the signing of Fernando from Manchester City for £4.7million.
The 30-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract, ending the Brazilian’s three year spell at the Etihad.
The midfielder was left out of City’s pre-season tour of the United States and follows Kelechi Iheanacho, who has joined Leicester City, through the exit door.
The Brazilian make 101 appearances for City, but only picked up one solitary piece of silverware, helping them to the League Cup in 2016.
Fernando said: “It’s been a pleasure to play for Manchester City.
The Club has looked after me incredibly well throughout my time here and I have enjoyed the challenge of playing for a top team in probably the world’s toughest league.
“The League Cup success of 2016 was a highlight for me and something I will never forget.”
