A CLASSICAL concert will form part of the autumn cultural programme to be held on Tuesday October 10 at St Michael’s Cave.
The European Symphony Orchestra directed by British conductor Howard Shelley will be joined by one of Britain’s leading clarinetists Matthew Hunt. Together they will open the 2017/2018 Philharmonic Society’s season with a great selection of works by Mozart, Weber and Beethoven.
Tickets at £20 for the event which starts at 8pm will go on sale from Tuesday August 15 and will be available from Sacarello’s Coffee Shop in Irish Town, the Silver Shop at 222 Main Street or online at buytickets.gi. A limited number of tickets priced at £10 for senior citizens and students will be available from the John Mackintosh Hall reception at 308 Main Street. The ticket price includes a return shuttle service from the Public Market and opposite the Cable Car from 6:30pm.
