TWO English football league sides have shown an interest in Gibraltar international goalkeeper Jordan Perez. Perez, 28, who has seven international caps has caught the eye of Championship play-off contenders Ipswich Town and League 2 Wycombe Wanderers, themselves locked in a play-off semi-final after finishing just outside the automatic promotion spots. Perez, who plays for Lions Gibraltar FC and is a firefighter by day, has recently returned from a week training with the Buckinghamshire side. He said: "Initially Championship side Ipswich Town were more than willing to take me on board and arrangements were being made, but a few weeks back League 2 Wycombe Wanderers also showed an interest. "Wycombe at present only have one goalkeeper. If they were to be promoted they would definitely be looking to recruit another goalkeeper, possibly two. "Many might think my time to become a professional has gone and chances are very slight, arguably this could be true, but once you lose hope you might as well retire and I am not in that frame of mind yet."
